Shaunagh Browning, DNP, RN, FNP-BC



Shaunagh Browning serves as the director for the Office of Research Quality Assurance (ORQA). Shaunagh joined ORQA as the director in 2018 and directs activities related to the mission and purpose of ORQA at Georgetown University. Her work in clinical research at Georgetown began as a study coordinator in 1990. Since then, she has coordinated numerous clinical trials. In addition, Shaunagh has been a certified family nurse practitioner since 1999 and provided clinical care to research patients in addition to coordinating the projects. In the past, her work included managing a clinical research unit and assisting many investigators in the implementation of their clinical research projects. Shaunagh received her BSN from George Mason University in 1988, her MS in Nursing from Georgetown University in 1998, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2019. Shaunagh’s work has centered on the role of the clinical research coordinator, with emphasis on the clinical research nurse and education of staff and scientists with the goal of research quality and efficiency.

Margie Dimatulac, BS

Quality Assurance Specialist, Senior Auditor


Margie Dimatulac serves as a Quality Assurance Specialist (Auditor) for the Office of Research Quality Assurance (ORQA). Her responsibilities include conducting internal study audits (cause and not for cause) for compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements, assisting in quality assurance training to members of the research community, and developing operational policies and procedures. Margie began working in clinical research in 2016 as a research assistant, then as a clinical research coordinator, and joined ORQA in 2019. Margie graduated from James Madison University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences.

Neha Mookuparambil, MS, PharmD

DSMC Program Coordinator and Quality Assurance Auditor


Neha Mookuparambil serves as an auditor for the Office of Research Quality Assurance (ORQA). In addition to her role as an auditor, she is responsible for the coordination of the Data and Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC) at Georgetown University. Neha joined the ORQA team in 2019. Her function includes coordination of various clinical research teams to collaborate and generate reports that are audited and presented to the DSMC for review. In addition, she contributes to develop new and refine existing quality assurance processes. Neha graduated with an MS in Biotechnology from Georgetown University in 2019 and PharmD from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, India, in 2018.
